Assisted by an acoustic guitar, Daren takes the talents God gave him and somehow conjures the sounds of rhythm, lead, bass and percussion.  Swanson’s approach to guitar, incorporating years of playing in bands and solo, focuses on delivering as much as he can to the audience.  His unique style involves bass-runs and thumbing notes, which sometimes renders a sound like that of a larger group.

The sound of Daren’s heavily worn Martin DC-28 is the perfect frame for beautiful vocals.  The guitar cradles Lisa’s voice with a carefully timed series of beats, strummed chords, musical leads, and bass movements.
